i think guys are just indignant that they enjoy pampering us. so they make some noise to get back a little of their ego. 
but when they know how much we love them, they'd probably be just as happy to keep quiet.</description>

These whiny singaporean men (look! i am not saying ALL)  are just afraid of Singaporean women because our so called "demands" remind them of their weaknesses, and their inability to provide. 
(VK is insisting that this is too sweeping.)

You are right in saying that they themselves are demanding. They sound like they are asking for a packaged product. Sweet, docile and pretty, batteries not included.
