Hello East End

So, we are now the proud owners of a spanking new flat also known as The Premiere in Tampines. It’s going to be Hello East End, Goodbye North-east Jungle for me at the end of 2008.

There is still a long way to go but then again, two years will probably fly by quickly. It’s time to put things into perspective, work out our budgets and get a new job that will pay me more. No more being a kid and living a life for one, it’s going to be the two of us from now on, baby.

I’m quite excited and loving it, and worried at the same time. While it’s fun to think of the things I could do with my new flat, there is also the money factor to consider. Having been financially independent since the age of 19, money has never exactly been rolling in my direction. Given how I have been spending and living the way I want to, I have to stop and think about us now and it’s all a little intimidating.
