Today, I finally did what I have been procastinating for ages – getting up at 6.30am to jog! Considering that I get to work late 4 out of 5 days of the week due to over-sleeping, it was no mean feat. Sadly, my fitness level is somewhere down in the depths of hell, I couldn’t even muster enough energy to last for more than 20 minutes and slowly crawled home. Very sad.
On another miserable note, my attempts at flirting with the boyfriend online had failed spectacularly. Since experts are always harping on how couples need to maintain the relationship with interesting and innovative methods, I decided to pose as an interested buyer on the MUGS forum, and sent him a personal message last night. Not only did the (insert rude name) did not recognise my nickname, he even shot me a very terse message back. The irony is that when he was replying to me (not knowing that it was me), we were actually talking on the phone and he said, “Wah, got some idiot asked me a question on MUGS.” Erm, that idiot is your girlfriend.
I am a sad sod.
but i don’t flirt….

6.30am in the morning?!?! on a work day?!!?!
i have always wanted to try jogging but found that its quite expensive to get the right jogging gear, ie, sporty clothes and sports shoes. both of which i have none. and then i would need some makeup cos i always look naturally dead without. tsk its a stressful thing for me to think about exercise.
but all the same, congrats on your determination and achievement of the week. π

abby, jogging is actually the cheapest sport, considering all the other sports that require gear (like tennis, gym, yoga etc) actually it’s free – if you already has sports shoes. juz wear anything =p

Complete with overflowing cai bo and chilli.
Suppressing anger and stress has also made me age.
My belly sticks out now becus i havent been working my lazy bum.
I really need to take the cue from Yann and start jogging.
I need to de-stress.

Abby – Haha, I am like you. Vain as hell. I got a nice, functional pair of shoes from Nike at $40 from one of those “Famous Brands” shops. As for sporty wear…..hee those were remnants from my gym days. And people who go to California Fitness are vain so that means my clothes are never tatty or eeky.
Ash – Can’t see no signs of aging! When I get up at 6.30am, I’ll call you also. π Though you’ll probably scream me down.
