Kitty Tales

Unavoidably detained by Miss Coco

If you don’t see me for the next few days, it’s because I am completely wrapped around the tiny paws of a certain Miss Coco.

She’s ours so obviously I think that she is gorgeous, gorgeous!

Her mama had died and her fairy godparents found her alone and miserable. They fed her patiently for about two weeks before taking her home. But being a household of three cats and dog, they had no space for her and by the merest of chances, she ended up at east end.

She’s only been here for two days and already we are besotted with her. As I type, I am sitting on the floor while she is dashing across the room chasing after her toys. Occasionally, the sound of my typing would catch her attention and she would stand with her two front paws on the keyboard of my MacBook and gaze intently into the screen. She also has a tendency to swipe at my toes and has taken to drinking water out of my mug. When she is tired, she lies on the floor and stretches lazily.

She’s so funny and cute and loveable and playful and hysterical.
And she is ours.

The organised chaos

Melly marvellous

One evening, I came home to see this sitting in my letterbox:

It’s a present! I opened up the envelope and what greeted me was this really cute sight:

The lovely note was handwritten and illustrated by Melly. Isn’t she just amazingly talented? Of course it made me more eager to open up that bubble wrap.

Whee! They were the buntings which she had made earlier. She had made extra and kindly given them away to lucky beneficiaries like me.

And this is the new home of the buntings:

Thanks Melly! 🙂
